The Law School has an outstanding faculty, with its full-time members totaling at 48, 12 of which are full professors, 22 of which are associate professors, 20 of whom hold a doctorate. Moreover, as many as 16 of our faculty members offer courses conducted in the English language, or courses in Japanese, or Chinese-English or Chinese-Japanese bilingual courses, which account for 63% of the entire curriculum in terms of course hours. Today, our faculty is characterized by three "More's": More with high professional and educational background (over 70% are professors and associate professors); more with overseas educational background (over 50%),and more bilingual courses and/or courses using English or Japanese as the teaching medium offered. The faculty now has an ideal age-structure: most of the professors are young or in their prime years, full of energy and potentials. The Law School now has established an academic team of well-known professors and associate professors, PhDs, as well as energetic young instructors. |
